Nikki is responsible for ensuring the finanacial stability of the Service charge and Reserve fund and for the delivery of a high standard of service.
Nikki qualified as a nurse in 1982 and completed an ENB course in Care of the Elderly.
In 1990 she gained planning permission for The Mellowes Nursing Home in Gillingham and later purchased The Malthouse Residential Care Home in Gillingham which she ran and developed to become a 32 bed Care Home with 9 independent cottages.
It was the success of the cottages which inspired her to set up Motcombe Grange in 2003 offering luxury and bespoke independent living with an emergency response service.
Lucy has been with Motcombe Grange since its inception in 2005.
Lucy was a weekend relief manager but also worked for a care agency as a carer and is NVQ Level 2 qualified. Lucy was promoted in 2014 to Manager and is responsible for facilitating the day to day running of The Grange. Lucy is available in the office between 9.30 – 2 pm Monday to Fridays.
Marilyn worked as a senior carer at The Malthouse Care Home for 15 years. Having achieved NVQ level 2 Marilyn now is the live-in deputy manager covering Lucy’s off duty and holidays.
